About This Recipe
A childhood favourite that my mum used to make often when preparing a dish that needed rice. She always made some extra to create a nice dessert that could also be eaten for breakfast.
What You'll Need
Step by Step
Use small funky pots like the GU ones that you most likely have a few of in your cupboards.
Make a big bowl of rice pudding (I tend to follow the instructions on the packaging of the rice, adding full fat milk and a little bit of butter to make it creamier).
Chocolate and cranberry one: add raw cacao, honey and dried cranberries to the rice pudding, mix up so it becomes nice and silky. Chocolate orange: mix in raw cacao, honey with the rice pudding and decorate the top with thin orange slices. Berry version: add jam on top creating a nice little layer. Even better if you can make your own compote (using frozen or fresh berries).
