Ingredients (serves 1)
- 1 banana (or around 180 g)
- 30 g wholemeal oats
- 20g cashew nuts
- ½ tsp cinnamon (opt.)
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 heaped tsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
- 1 tsp flaxseeds
- 1 tsp sunflower seeds
- 200 ml water
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (less or skip if banana is more on the ripe side as it will have higher sugar content)
Method
- Peel and roughly chop the banana and add to a food processor.
- Add the cashew nuts and oats, then blitz together.
- Add the remaining ingredients except the cacao nibs and blitz more.
- Taste and add the honey or maple syrup.
- Sprinkle cacao nibs on top before serving.
