Why should you book with Twiddle?
With my 5 years of experience in teaching cookery skills for all ages I can guarantee a fun and informative session for your group. I have taught hundreds of children at parent and child workshops, food festivals, at primary schools and universities. Seeing fussy children transform within less than an hour and being super proud of their food creations showed me how important these hands on sessions were. My workshops are designed with healthy eating in mind and incorporate teaching the children vital skills that will give them a great start in life.
Compared to a pizza making session at a chain restaurant (currently costing£12.95 a child) these session provide a lot more learning and fun for the children. While making their pasta/gnocchi/ energy bars, etc. the children will learn about the ingredients, the health benefits of using different herbs and spices to make their pasta and gnocchi colourful. They will learn about food hygiene and how the pasta can be cooked, stored and what sauces would be yummy with their creations.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1. What do we need for a Twiddle workshop?
These sessions can be run in any church halls with kitchen facilities and tables. I bring all the equipment and ingredients. I also have aprons but the children can bring their own if they prefer. The children will just need to bring a food container from home.
2. How long do these sessions last?
I would need access to the hall at least 30 minutes prior to the session to be able to set up the tables ready for the children when they arrive. The sessions last approximately 60-75 minutes. Depending on the size of the group, the age of the children and the number of helpers, the sessions can last a little longer or finish a bit sooner.
3. Can you accommodate allergies?
Yes, I can accommodate for allergies. I will need to know this in advance so that I can go through a risk assessment and ensure it is safe to run the workshop for children with allergies.
4. How many children can attend and from what age?
As long as the children and adult ratio is kept to the required and there are enough tables, I can cater for up to 40 children. Sessions are suitable for primary school aged children and up.
5. How much does a workshop cost?
Smaller groups: £15/ child with a minimum of 10 children per booking.
Larger groups: £250 includes up to 20 children. Additional children will be charged at £10 per head. Mileage included within 10 miles.
6. How far do you travel?
I am happy to travel to a group in and around Sheffield and Chesterfield. Workshops for further away can also be arranged but mileage charges and additional cost to cover the travel time will be added to the invoice.
7. Are you insured?
Yes, I am insured with Zurich as a Nutrition Coach and Reiki Healer.
8. Are you CRB checked?
Yes, I have been CRB checked.
9. Have you got a Food Safety Certificate?
Yes, I have Level 2 Food Safety Certificate and a 5 star Hygiene rating for my business.
10. What is your qualification?
I am an economist “by trade”, moved to the UK after getting my degree in Hungary (where I am from). I worked for 15 years at DLA Piper in Anti-Money Laundering and managed a large centralised team. In March 2023, I left the corporate world to concentrate on running my business.
